Why Don't We Use Distributors?
Customers sometimes complain about having to pay import duties and/or local taxes.
We do not use distributors in order to keep the total cost to the consumer as low as possible - here's why.
It wouldn’t actually cost any less if we used a local distributor, in fact it would likely cost a good deal more than buying directly from us. In any country, the importer always has to pay any customs duties, local taxes and brokerage or clearance fees. So the distributor would have to pay them, just the same as the end consumer would. They’re also going to have to pay the shipping cost for us to ship to them and then the consumer would have to pay a second shipping cost for the distributor to ship it to the consumer. And then the distributor is going to want to mark up to make a reasonable profit for their troubles of stocking inventory and recovering their importation and shipping costs.
And if you buy from a local distributor, you would still have to pay them the VAT or other local taxes anyway. You can't beat the taxman - he'll always get you!!
It is always less expensive to buy direct from the manufacturer and eliminate any and all middle men.
In this way we can assure you, you are getting the lowest cost possible, wherever you live.
