The SFX7.0 sound module already includes a micro-SD Card, which comes with up to four different sound sets. Do NOT order this card unless you want to purchase more sounds. These microSD Cards are supplied by us pre-loaded with up to four .sfx7 sound sets of your choice and compatible hardware settings files. You can simply swap in a new microSD Card for the existing one in a SFX7 sound module and have a completely different set of sounds. Each microSD Card also includes the latest firmware and PC software releases and documentation suite. The card comes in a small plastic case. Note: These microSD cards have been carefully tested by us to meet all performance requirements of the SFX7 sound module. Be wary of other sources of microSD Cards, brand name or not, - they may not work in the SFX7 sound module. It is highly recommended that you backup all the files on the SFX7 micro-SD card as soon as you receive it. |

We recommend using this 22AWG solid cored hook-up wire to connect your loudspeaker(s) and battery supply to the SFX7 sound module. Available in red/black (for battery supply or for two loudspeakers) and green (usually for a single loudspeaker). Since two 4Ohm loudspeakers must be wired in series with each other, it is a good idea to use black/red wire for this as it is important to have them wired in phase. |

We recommend adding a 3 Amp in-line fuse in the positive power supply to our sound modules. This is to protect your wiring should there be accidental short circuits or a reversed battery. Note: A fuse will not act fast enough to protect the sound module if you reverse the battery, but it will save your wiring and possibly other components from smoking! Note: We sell these fuses in sets of three. If you bought only one fuse, and it blows due to wiring errors, then you'll need replacements. |

on our SFX6.4 sound modules are designed to switch LEDs or
lamps, not inductive loads. If you wish to switch any inductive
load such as a relay, small motor, solenoid etc., you MUST
connect a "snubber" device across the load to prevent reverse
inductive kickback voltages from damaging the sound module. |

This male-male servo cable with
Futaba style connectors on each end is 300mm long and uses 24AWG
stranded wire. It is used to connect R/C receiver throttle and
sound select outputs to our SFX6.4 sound module. The SFX6.4
sound module includes two of these cables - one for a Throttle
input and one for a Sound Select Input. This is the usual
configuration. |
